    BalaJanasakhyam Kaliyarangu and Chiriyoga

    St Paul's International School Malayalam department arranged various cultural programmes. Live demonstrations were conducted as part of the BalaJanasakhyam club activities on 4th July 2019 in the school auditorium. The welcome address was given by Ms Athira. In his address the principal Mr George K. V. told the students to be very happy throughout their life. He also reminded them about the need of a healthy body. Various classes were conducted like Kaliyarangu by Mr T. P. Vivek, the famous RJ, singer and music teacher. Chiriyoga session was taken by Mr Sunil Kumar S. V., the Yoga trainer. The programme was very lively, entertaining and enriching. The students enjoyed the session very much.

    BalaJanasakhyam Inauguration 2019- 2020

    St Paul's International School bubbled with vigour and energy on 4th July 2019 as the 'BalaJanasakhyam club' activities were officially inaugurated in the school auditorium. The welcome address was given by Ms Simmy M. R. The school Principal, Mr George K. V. rendered the presidential address. The programme was officially inaugurated by the Malayalam poet, Cherukunnam Vasudevan Nair. The chief guest of the day, s function was Jayan Century, the famous film, serial and mimicry artist. The programme motivated the students to follow a fun-filled, disciplined and value based life. They were entertained with various programmes like 'Kathaprasangam', 'Nadanpattu' etc. The audience and the guests really enjoyed the folk song sung by Arun and team. The activity report was read by Ms Meera.

    Film Workshop

    A workshop on films and art of film making was held in St Paul's International School on 22nd June 2019. The workshop was arranged in the Yoga room for the students of classes VII and VIII. It was led by Mr Sabu Pravadas, the noted malayalam film director and Mr Charly, the new malayalam film actor. Both the mentors are experts in their respective fields. The programme covered various aspects of film making like visual photography, editing, cinematography, art direction, acting and dubbing etc. The students were very much interested in the workshop. They learnt many new aspects of the art of film making. They got a clear idea about the various options in the field of film making as a profession.

    Seminar on Astro Physics

    A seminar on Astro Physics was held in St Paul's International School on 22nd June 2019. It was conducted by Mr Athul R. T. Project Trainer, Department of Physics, CUSAT. The seminar was conducted for the students of classes X, XI and XII in the school auditorium. The seminar covered various topics like Physics , Astronomy and many intriguing facts of science. The resource person also mentioned about the famous institutes offering the courses in Astro Physics. He explained the topic very clearly. The students got a clear idea about the topic and what are the criterias for getting opportunities in this particular field.

    Reading Day Programme

    Reading Maketh A Man_"Francis Bacon. " Reading Day "was celebrated in St Paul's International School on 19th June 2019 with great pomp and fervour. The day's programme highlighted the benefits of reading. The presidential address was delivered by the Director of the school Rev Dr Douglas Pinheiro. He inspired the students to read various kinds of books. The inaugural address was given by the chief guest Mr Jaleel Thanath. Students had showcased a rich array of books of various genres and authors. They visited the book exhibition and enjoyed the programme.They were motivated to read more and more and explore their horizon of knowledge.

    Vidyarambham 2019

    12th June, 2019 marked an important Milestone in the annals of St Paul's International School, as the tiny tots of the L.K.G. section stepped into the temple of knowledge. The colourful programme kickstarted with the captivating welcome dance by the U. K. G students, followed by the invocation by the SPIK choir. The Welcome speech was given by Mrs. Remila V. T, the K. G. In-charge. The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev Dr Douglas Pinheiro, Director, SPIS. In his address Director reminded that the school is the second home for the kids and the teachers are like their mothers. The event was inaugurated by lighting up the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sippy Pallipuram. He stressed on the importance of the mother tongue in our life. The Principal of the school, Mr. George K. V. addressed the gathering and said SPIS students are taught 3 languages along with 2 foreign languages like Spanish and German. Later the L. K. G students along with their parents lit up the Diyas and took part in the auspicious Vidyarambam rituals. The occasion was wrapped up with the vote of thanks by Mrs Mary Ourin, the Vidyarambam I/C and the National Anthem by the SPIK choir.

    World Environment Day Celebration at SPIS

    World Environment Day was celebrated in St Paul's International School on 17th June 2019.The days programme started with a special assembly in the school auditorium with this year's theme "Air Pollution" through the thought provoking skit. Students spread the message about planting more trees and conserving the nature. They highlighted the thought _ " Air that is polluted, will not be saluted." Saplings, seeds and plants were exchanged between the students. Principal Mr George K. V. reminded the students to plant more trees and nurture them. Students should be responsible citizens to save nature and make the world a better place for the future generation.

    St. Paul's International School continued its uninterrupted saga of 100% success in class XII in the AISSCE 2019. Out of 38 students who appeared for 12th Board Exam ,10 have secured above 90 % and 22 students are marked with distinction. 6 students secured first class .In the Science stream Miss.Vaibhavi G. Rao STANDS first with 94.2 %. In the Commerce stream Miss. Ann Mary Joffy bagged the first place by securing 93.6 %. Kudos Paulians!

The Graduation Ceremony instilled with a majestic grand academic procession led by the dignitaries, Director of the school Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro and the Principal Mr. George K.     The Blooming Athletes of St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery participated in Dr. K.M Munsi Memorial CBSE Interschool Athletic Meet 2018 held at Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Eroor on 11th and 12th December, 2018. 25 students participated in the Meet. Alfiya Riyaz of IX A won the First position in 100m race and Third position in 200m race in the Senior Girls Category.

    An Elocution Contest was held at Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Chembumukku on 7th December 2018 as part of Silver Jubilee Celebration. Four students of our school participated in the competition. Sohail Sanjay Moideen of Class XI and Anagha Biju of Class XI secured the first positions in Senior Category English and Malayalam Elocution respectively. Second prize in English Elocution under Junior category was won by Jovina Roy of Class VIII and Vaidehi Varma of Class VIII won second prize in Malayalam Elocution under Junior category.

    Basketball Champions

    An Inter-school Basket ball Tournament was conducted at Holy Cross Convent School, Kangarapady on 1st December 2018. Twelve players of SPIS participated in the tournament. Under 14 boys, St. Paul’s International School Kalamassery bagged the championship. Mable Mathew Roy of Class VIII A was declared the Best Player of the match.

    Haritha Vidyalaya Award

    St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery won the Third Prize for the Haritha Vidyalala 2017-18 for the best SEED club activities represented by the Aluva district. The SEED Club members of our school accompanied by Ms. Maya M.K. and Mr. Saju P. Jacob, received the award from the Chief Guest, Mr. Raju Narayana Swamy, IAS.     The waste disposed at the public premises in H M T Moolepadam Road (Kalamassery Muncipality Ward 6) was noticed by the SEED Club members of St. Paul’s International School and was brought into the attention of the concerned authorities by the school captain, Ms. Mariam Anna Varghese. Almost 40 students illustrated their skills and creativity in the field of graffiti by painting on the walls using multitudinous hues.     St. Paul's International School continued its uninterrupted saga of 100% success both in class X and XII in the AISSE and AISSCE-2017. Out of 38 students who appeared for 12th Board Exam, two students secured A1 in all subjects, 30 students secured a score of 80% and above and the rest nearly missed 80%. Out of 53 students who appeared for 10th Board Exam, 16 students secured A1 in all subjects. Three students nearly missed their 80% and the rest scored above 80%. The School Management appreciates the encouragement and support received from all the stakeholders. Kudos Paulians!

    Retreat 2019

    St Paul’s International School commenced the academic year 2019-’20 on 6th June with a retreat for the students. It was held at three different venues at St Paul’s International School for the students of the classes from UKG to XII. The retreat was led by Mr Bibin, Mr Paul and Brother Nandu. The day’s programme was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro. He encouraged the students to be a good human being apart from being mere good students. Felicitation address was delivered by the Principal Mr. George K.V. He reminded the Paulians about the rules and regulations of the school. Master Sohail Sanjay Moideen of XII B welcomed the gathering. The students were motivated and encouraged to lead a disciplined and systematic life. The session reinforced the importance of being positive in our life. Students were advised to maintain positive attitude, respectfulness towards parents, teachers and all the elders. The entire session was very lively and was presented with interesting stories and many real life anecdotes.
