16th SPIK Annual Sports Meet (2018-19)

St. Paul’s International School celebrated the 16th Annual Sports Meet of Kindergarten in all its grandeur on 26th October ,2018.

St. Paul’s International School celebrated the 16th Annual Sports Meet of Kindergarten in all its grandeur on 26th October ,2018. The guest of honour was the Director of the School, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro. The programme gained momentum with the invocation by the SPIK choir. The tiny tots marched forward along with the House Captains of the four houses namely the Alps, the Andes, the Atlas and the Himalaya and Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro received the general salute from the House Captains.

The U.K.G students performed the March Past. The Alps House was led by their Captain, Chris Cleetus and the Vice-Captain, Aiza Mariam Raees. The Andes House was led by the Captain, Amal Thanveer. A.S and the Vice-Captain by Aaradhya Binu. The Altas House was led by the Captain, Aadrian Antony Sequeria and the Vice-Captain, Sara Rachel Vinu and the Himalaya House was led by the Captain, Aiden Thomas Anish and the Vice-Captain by Kabsha Aldin.

The Director of the School, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro addressed the gathering and the lightening of the Olympic Torch was carried out by the Director along with the SPIK Captain, Anvi Rakesh Choubey followed by the four House Captains. Inorder to solemnly promise their service for the welfare of the Institution, an Oath Taking Ceremony was effectuated by the SPIK Captain and the House Captains.

The little shinning stars of the SPIK portrayed their skills and talents by performing a mass drill followed by a Musical, Skating and Yoga Display. After the formal function, the students were engaged in the assorted sports events.

The winners were awarded with medals by the Director of the School, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro, Principal, Mr. K.V George, Manager, Mr. C.C Rapheal and the K.G Incharge, Mrs.Ramila V.T.

Mrs. Ramila .V.T, the K.G Incharge welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Sheela Susan John, the incharge of the Annual Sports Day of the SPIK delivered the Vote of Thanks. The programme came to an end with the National Anthem by the SPIK choir.

  • GERMAN DAY - 2017
    On 26th October 2017, St. Paul’s International School celebrated German Day. Dr. Axel Beier, the Director of Geothe Institute, Banglore and Dr. Syed Ibrahim, the Director of Geothe Zentrum, Trivandrum and Kochi and the German Consul for Kerala, were the guests of the day.
  • HINDI DAY CELEBRATION
    Hindi Day was celebrated in a very grand manner in the St Paul's International School, Kalamasserry on 11th October, 2019 in the School auditorium. Various programmes like speech, action song, recitation and power point presentation were done. The Presidential address was delivered by the Principal of the school, Mr George K. V. He stressed on the importance and influence of Hindi language. The Chief Guest of the function was Mrs Shalby Kurian, the Head of the Hindi Department, Kendriya Vidyalaya. In her address the Chief Guest reminded the students about the popularity and significance of Hindi as a language. The programme highlighted the various activities of the Hindi Club carried out in the School throughout the academic year.
  • Pulses Day
    25th August 2016 was observed as The Pulses Day. Along with the international community of people, St. Paul’s International School also celebrated the International Year of Pulses.
  • International Yoga Day 2017
    On 21st June 2017 SPIS celebrated the International Yoga Day by hosting a special assembly coordinated by the Yoga Instructor of the school, Ms. Smitha.
  • Christmas Celebration 2017
    St. Paul’s International School on 22 December 2017 celebrated Christmas, hosted by the Atlas house of the school.
  • Cultural Meet 2018-19
    The inauguration of the school cultural meet was held in the school auditorium at 9.00AM on Friday, the20th July 2018.
  • GRAFFITI 2017
    On 19th October, St. Paul’s International School hosted ‘Graffiti 2017’, a wall painting competition. Almost 40 students illustrated their skills and creativity in the field of graffiti by painting on the walls using multitudinous hues. Dr. Sheela Seth, the Principal of the school inaugurated the wall painting competition, that upheld innovation and noveau ideas as its motto and kept aside the traditional means of rendering art.
  • World Coconut Day
    St Paul’s International School ,Kalamassery conducted a special assembly highlighting the importance of coconut and the coconut plant on 2nd September, 2019 .VIII Std student Mariya Theresa Antony spoke about various value added products available from coconut plant . Seed Club member Mohamed Zain brought a coconut sapling. The Club members presented the sapling to the Principal ,Mr George K.V. Seed Coordinator Ms Jayalakshmi received the same from the Principal and it was finally planted in the school campus by the Seed Club members. There was an exhibition of various useful items made out of coconut and coconut plant. Artifacts made out of coconut shells and husk like door mats,coir and plants grown in coconut shells were displayed in the auditorium . The students and the staff members included food items made of coconut in their lunch . The ‘’Coconut Day’’ celebration introspected the significance of the’’ Majic Tree’’coconut and its multifaceted utilities .

  • Inter School Graffiti Competition – 2019
    The colourful Inter School Graffiti Competition organised by the St Paul's International School, Kalamasserry kickstarted on 10th October, 2019 in the School auditorium. Nine schools took part in the competition. The function started with the invocation by the School choir, followed by the welcome address by Norah Ranson of XI-B. The Principal of the school, Mr George K. V. encouraged the students to flourish their hidden talents through such competitions. In his inaugural address the Director of SPIS, Rev Dr Douglas Pinheiro explained the word "Graffiti" i.e Wall Art. He added that we are all Graffiti artists in our childhood, as we express our thoughts by drawing on the wall. The Director Father painted the wall with the first stroke of paint and formally opened the competition. The theme of the competition was nature. All the teams brilliantly showcased their talents and made the drawings very lively. The valedictory function got started with the invocation by the School choir. The welcome address was delivered by Raisa Parvin of XI-A. The Presidential address was delivered by the Director of SPIS, Rev Dr Douglas Pinheiro. He differentiated Graffiti and the Mural painting and mentioned about the importance of the Kochi Binnale in shaping the "Art Psyche" among the students. The Chief Guest of the day was the Lalithakala Academy Member, well-known Artist, Mr Somji. In the inaugural address, he explained the rich heritage of Graffiti as an art form. He spoke about some of the prolific Graffiti artists across the globe. In the Principal's message, Mr George K. V. thanked the management for organising such a great programme and made the students aware about the Nature and the ways to conserve our mother nature. The winners were honoured with the Cash Awards, Ever rolling Trophy and Certificates. The Ever rolling Trophy and a cash prize of Rs.10,000/- was won by the Assisi Vidyanikethan Public School, Chembumukku. The runner up was Mary Matha Public School, Thrikkakara,and they received Rs.5000/-. The third position was secured by Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Eroor,and they received Rs.2500/-. The fourth position was secured by the host School St Paul's International School, Kalamasserry, winning Rs.1500/-. The fifth position was bagged by the Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannamaly, and they received Rs.1000/-. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Mrs Suby George, faculty of English, followed by the National Anthem by school choir.

Office will not be functioning on 2nd and 3rd Saturdays.

Parents may meet the Principal after prior appointment at the following timings. Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 11.00 am / 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm
