INTERNATIONAL SPARROW DAY

SPIS celebrated International Sparrow Day on 20th March 2018 under the aegis of Akhila Kerala Balajanasakhyam, Kalamassery Union.

SPIS celebrated International Sparrow Day on 20th March 2018 under the aegis of Akhila Kerala Balajanasakhyam, Kalamassery Union. The Director of SPIS, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro, addressed the gathering and introduced the guests to the students. The International Sparrow Day was inaugurated by distributing clay pots to the students in order to feed the sparrows by the guest of the day, Mr. Sreeman Narayanan and other Balajanasakhyam coordinators, Mr. Jaleel Thanath, Mr. Antony and Mr. Raveendran.

“We become human beings in the real sense of the term when we love and care for all the living and non living things on earth”, expressed Mr. Sreeman Narayan. The Principal of the school, Mr. George K. V, the Manager Mr. C. C. Raphael, Balajanasakhyam school coordinators, Ms. Dhanya Viswanath, Ms. Simmy M. R were present during the occasion. The welcome speech was delivered by Kumari Merrin Elizabeth of Class X B and vote of thanks was delivered by Kumari Archana Suresh of Class X A.

Anti – Alcoholism Campaign
An anti - drug Campaign of the Catholic Church under the auspices of Bishop Remigius Inchananiyil, the State Chairman KCBC (Kerala Catholic Bishops Conference) was held at St. Paul’s International School on 24th November 2017.
A Talk on ‘How to Confront Exam Fear’
On 15th January 2018, a talk on ‘How to Confront Exam Fear’ was organized at St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery under the aegis of Balajanasakhyam, Kalamassery Union.
Inauguration of SEED Club
To make students proactive on their role as responsible stewards of the environment, SEED club is organized for students of class I to VIII. SEED is the abbreviation for Students Empowerment for Environmental Development. The club was inaugurated on 8th July 2016 in the school auditorium.
ENGLISH CLUB INAUGURATION
The Prestigious English Club was inaugurated with a gala function on 17th October, 2019 in the auditorium. The function started with the invocation by the School choir. The welcome speech was delivered by Miss Abida, Class VII-B. The Presidential address was delivered by the Principal, Mr George K. V. He inspired the students to develop good characters and hone their skills with regular practice. They should use the opportunities in life most effectively. The English Club was officially inaugurated by lighting the lamp.Chief Guests of the day were Miss Anu Sam, Guest lecturer of St Paul's College and Miss Gayathri Rajeev, the budding singer and SPIS Alumni . . Students presented various power packed programmes like "Disney Stars", Recitation, "Behind the Mask", "Pop" etc. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Miss Neha, Class-VII-A. The Programme concluded with the National Anthem.
Cultural Meet 2019 - 20
The rich and fabulous cultural extravaganza 2019 - 20 was inaugurated on 27th July, 2019 in the St Paul's International School with great fervour. The welcome address was given by Ms Anjaly Sabu of class XI B. The Presidential address was delivered by the Principal of the school, Mr George K. V. He advised the students to be positive in life. They should accept failures sportingly. He reiterated that failures are the stepping stones of success. The programme was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Justice C. N. Ramachandran Nair lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Annual Academic Exhibition 2019 - 20
The Annual Academic Exhibition 2019 - 20 of St Paul's International School was held on 29th and 30th July. Students of classes L.K.G to XII th showcased their innovative works on English, Hindi, Malayalam, Maths, Science, Social, Computer science, German, Spanish, Art and Craft etc. All the models, Charts and games were tastefully decorated and confidently demonstrated by the students. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof Dr P. Venu, Head of the department of Mathematics of SCMS. The welcome address was given by the school captain Master Sohail Sanjay Moideen.
