St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery added another feather to its illustrious cap

St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery added another feather to its illustrious cap when the school Director Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro received the prestigious British Council International School Award-2017-2020 (ISA Award) on Friday, 15th December 2017. SPIS received this covetous award after a yearlong project on various subjects involving the students, teachers and collaborating with prestigious partner schools outside India.

International School Award recognises and celebrates exemplary practices of internationalism in schools. The British Council International School Award (ISA) is a benchmarking scheme that accredits schools as having an outstanding level of support for nurturing global citizenship in young people and for enriching teaching and learning process. The International School Award now has a presence in 31 countries worldwide.

  • Hjertelig velkommen (Hearty welcome)
    St. Paul’s International School proudly welcomes Mr. Erik Solheim, The Executive Director of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). He is a Norwegian Diplomat and the Under-Secretary General of the United Nations. His solemn presence at SPIS is in association with the 10th Annual Celebrations of the mega-event SEED (Student Empowerment for Environmental Development) organized by Mathrubhumi. The management, staff and students of SPIS are proud to be the host of Mr. Erik Solheim who is committed himself for the mother nature.
  • GRADUATION CEREMONY (2018- '19)
    UKG Annual Graduation Ceremony of St. Paul’s International School was held on Wednesday 27th March 2019. The Graduation Ceremony instilled with a majestic grand academic procession led by the dignitaries, Director of the school Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro and the Principal Mr. George K. V; followed by flower girls, UKG students, teachers and parents.

    The evening of 2017 was an incredible not to the St. Paul's International school, Kalamassery as they celebrated their "Partenza 2016-17".

    The exhibition on wheels organised by Kerala Lalithakala Academy was held at St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery on 12th December, 2018 (Wednesday).
  • SADAK SURAKSHA JEEVAN RAKSHA – ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS CLASS
    As part of the Road Safety Week (January 18, 2021 – February 17, 2021) that is observed throughout the country every year in the month of January, St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery organised a virtual advocacy campaign in collaboration with the Edappally Traffic Police Station for the students of classes VI to XII on January 25, 2021 at 3.30 PM. Master Hansel T. Jaison led the prayer and the resource persons were formally welcomed by Mrs. Suby V. George, the School Programme Coordinator. The Director, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro, the Principal, Mrs. Sheela Xavier and the Manager, Mr. C.C Raphael graced the occasion. Mr. Anish Joy, the Inspector of Police (City Traffic East Enforcement Unit, Edappally) started the class by citing the commonly read quote ‘Speed thrills, but kills’ to initiate the saddening fact that the victims to road accidents are majorly teenagers. He clarified the need to follow the instructions on the signboard and to avoid copying the film stunts that do not guarantee safety in real life. The aspirants poured out their doubts which were clearly explained and it also threw light on many areas the participants were unaware of. He urged the Paulians to drive only after procuring a license, which on the contrary is a serious offence. Mr. Nizamudeen Y, the Station House Officer (City Traffic East Enforcement Unit, Thripunithura) explicated the use of helmets, the need of insurance policy, the aftereffects of juvenile driving, the usage of seatbelts and the significance of following the traffic rules. He captured the attention of all the participants when he shared a heartbreaking story of a road accident he had attended to, enhancing the need to abide by the law. Students of SPIS gave their valuable feedback and Kum. Raisa Parveen N.A delivered the Vote of Thanks. The session ended by 4.45 PM.
  • PARTENZA 2017- 2018
    Partenza, the farewell function of the outgoing students of Class XII of SPIS was effectuated on 23rd February, 2018 in the school auditorium. The programmes were hosted by the students of Class XI.

Lunch Break : 12.45 pm - 1.45 pm
Office will not be functioning on 2nd and 3rd Saturdays.

Parents may meet the Principal after prior appointment at the following timings. Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 11.00 am / 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm
