BALAJANASAKHYAM – A seminar on ‘Water Conservation’ by Dr. Haridas V R.

A seminar on water conservation was carried out at St. Paul’s International School on 30th October 2017 by the guest of the day, the eminent hydro-geologist and the Manager of National Resource Management ‘Programme of Caritas’, Dr. Haridas V R.

A seminar on water conservation was carried out at St. Paul’s International School on 30th October 2017 by the guest of the day, the eminent hydro-geologist and the Manager of National Resource Management ‘Programme of Caritas’, Dr. Haridas V R. Kerala is a state in India which receives 3000 mm of water as rainfall, yet 7 crore rupees is spent every day on the purchase of bottled water. It enhances the mushrooming of companies supplying packaged drinking water all over Kerala.

“If we do not take up the responsibility to conserve water using innovative means, we will naturally come down to a situation when we will crave to get a drop of water in future”, said Dr. Haridas. Through a power point presentation he made the students aware of the strategies of water conservation and the diseases caused due to contaminated water. Dr. Haridas instilled the message that water is precious by quoting the words of Dr. Arthur which states that “Water is Liquid Gold”.

Dr. Sheela Seth, the principal of the school introduced the guest Dr. Haridas and the Manager of the school Mr. C C Raphael was present on this occasion. Mast. Nikhil Kurian and Ms. Chrisluiah Jiji of class VII B delivered the welcome speech and the vote of thanks.

  • GERMAN DAY - 2017
    On 26th October 2017, St. Paul’s International School celebrated German Day. Dr. Axel Beier, the Director of Geothe Institute, Banglore and Dr. Syed Ibrahim, the Director of Geothe Zentrum, Trivandrum and Kochi and the German Consul for Kerala, were the guests of the day.
  • BalaJanasakhyam Inauguration 2019- 2020
    St Paul's International School bubbled with vigour and energy on 4th July 2019 as the 'BalaJanasakhyam club' activities were officially inaugurated in the school auditorium. The welcome address was given by Ms Simmy M. R. The school Principal, Mr George K. V. rendered the presidential address. The programme was officially inaugurated by the Malayalam poet, Cherukunnam Vasudevan Nair. The chief guest of the day, s function was Jayan Century, the famous film, serial and mimicry artist. The programme motivated the students to follow a fun-filled, disciplined and value based life. They were entertained with various programmes like 'Kathaprasangam', 'Nadanpattu' etc. The audience and the guests really enjoyed the folk song sung by Arun and team. The activity report was read by Ms Meera.

    Kalari, a three-day camp for art gained impetus at St. Paul’s International School on 16 November 2017 under the auspices of Kerala Lalithakala Academy, Thrissur.
  • Annual Sports Meet 2017-18
    The 15th Annual Sports Meet of St. Paul’s International School was held on November 3, 2017 at the school ground. Genva Morris, Chief Petty Officer was the guest of the day.
  • Hjertelig velkommen (Hearty welcome)
    St. Paul’s International School proudly welcomes Mr. Erik Solheim, The Executive Director of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). He is a Norwegian Diplomat and the Under-Secretary General of the United Nations. His solemn presence at SPIS is in association with the 10th Annual Celebrations of the mega-event SEED (Student Empowerment for Environmental Development) organized by Mathrubhumi. The management, staff and students of SPIS are proud to be the host of Mr. Erik Solheim who is committed himself for the mother nature.
  • Annual Academic Exhibition 2019-20
    The Annual Academic Exhibition 2019 - 20 of St Paul's International School was held on 29th and 30th July. Students of classes L.K.G to XIIth showcased their innovative works on English, Hindi, Malayalam, Maths, Science, Social, Computer science, German, Spanish, Art and Craft etc. All the models, Charts and games were tastefully decorated and confidently demonstrated by the students. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof Dr P. Venu, Head of the department of Mathematics of SCMS. The welcome address was given by the school captain Master Sohail Sanjay Moideen.
  • Balajanasakyam and Nallapadam Inauguration 2017
    On 9th August 2017 Balajanasakyam and Nallapadam Clubs were inaugurated at St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery. The chief guest of the occasion was Mr. Joshy George, a renowned cartoonist, writer and a motivational speaker. “A smiling face has the ability to instill happiness and self confidence in an individual.

All 2nd and 3rd Saturdays will be holidays for classes from Std VI to XII

OFFICE TIMINGS

Monday - Saturday : 8.30 am - 4.30 pm
Lunch Break : 12.45 pm - 1.45 pm
Office will not be functioning on 2nd and 3rd Saturdays.

Parents may meet the Principal after prior appointment at the following timings. Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 11.00 am / 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm
