15th SPIK Annual Sports Meet 2017- 2018

St. Paul’s International School celebrated the 15th Annual Sports Meet of Kindergarten in all its grandeur on 20th October 2017. The guest of honour was Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro, the Director of the school. The program gained momentum with the invocation by the SPIK choir. The tiny tots marched forward along with the house captains of the four houses namely Alps, Andes, Atlas and Himalaya and Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro received the general salute from the house captains.

St. Paul’s International School celebrated the 15th Annual Sports Meet of Kindergarten in all its grandeur on 20th October 2017. The guest of honour was Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro, the Director of the school. The program gained momentum with the invocation by the SPIK choir. The tiny tots marched forward along with the house captains of the four houses namely Alps, Andes, Atlas and Himalaya and Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro received the general salute from the house captains. The UKG students along with the selected students from LKG performed the March Past.

The Alps house was led by their captain Ms. Asil Riyas and Vice – captain Ms. Caroline Mariam Sujith. The Andes house was led by their captain Ms. Deekshalakshmi G. N and Vice – captain Ms. Esther Mariam Rony. The Atlas house captain Mast. Juan Jacob and Vice – captain Ms. Rosalia Rijo lead the house members. Ms. Jenna Agatha Joemon, the house captian and Mast. Rayan Ouseph, the Vice - captain led the Himalaya house. The Director of the school Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro addressed the gathering and declared the Sports Meet open. For kindling the sportsmanship in the minds of young Paulians, the ceremonial lighting of the Olympic torch was carried out by the chief guest along with the SPIK captain Ms. Elvina Cyril and the four House captains.

In order to solemnly promise their service for the welfare of the institution the Oath Taking Ceremony was effectuated by the SPIK captain and the House captains. The little shining stars of SPIK portrayed their skills and talents by performing a mass drill followed by a Musical display and a Skating display. After the formal function the students were engaged in assorted sports events like running race, dog and the bone, passing the hoop, throwing the ball in the basket, threading beads, balancing the object, obstacle race, hoop race, penguin race, relay and dress up the pair. The winners were awarded with medals by the Principal, Dr. Sheela Seth and Mr. C C Raphael, the Manager of the school.

To enlighten the competitive spirit among the parents two events were conducted for them namely Stack Up the Chairs and Building a Pyramid. Mr. Joemon, the parent of Ms. Agnes Ana Joemon of UKG A and Mr. Tito, the parent of Mast. Rohan Tito of UKG A shared the first prize in Stack Up the Chairs competition. Mrs. Reshma, the mother of Ms. Aarifa Nargis bagged the first place in Building a Pyramid competition. Ms. Remla V T, the KG in-charge welcomed the gathering and Ms. Surya Francis in-charge of the Annual Sports Day of SPIK delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Sherly Abraham, KGT of SPIS felicitated on this occasion. The Anuual Sports Meet came to a cessation with the National Anthem by the SPIK choir.

  • Farmer’s Day
    St. Paul’s International School on 17th August 2017 celebrated the Farmer’s Day and honoured the indegenious mango tree in the school. The students and teachers decorated a mango tree by hanging various cut outs of mangoes inscribed with slogans that reinforces the importance of trees in our environment.
  • Cultural Meet 2019 - 20
    The rich and fabulous cultural extravaganza 2019 - 20 was inaugurated on 27th July, 2019 in the St Paul's International School with great fervour. The welcome address was given by Ms Anjaly Sabu of class XI B. The Presidential address was delivered by the Principal of the school, Mr George K. V. He advised the students to be positive in life. They should accept failures sportingly. He reiterated that failures are the stepping stones of success. The programme was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Justice C. N. Ramachandran Nair lighting the ceremonial lamp.
  • VARAYUM NAATUMOZHIYUM
    A Special Programme on “Varayum Naatumozhiyum” was conducted at St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery on 5th December, 2018 (Wednesday) in the school auditorium.
  • Seed Club Inauguration 2019
    'The Seed club' Inauguration was held in the auditorium of St Paul's International School on 24th July, 2019. The programme commenced with the malayalam folk dance, followed by the welcome speech by Master Anand Reji. The club report was read by Ms Ann Aby. The Chief Guest of the day Prof Dr S.Sitaraman inaugurated the club. In his inaugural address, he spoke about air pollution, energy conservation and biodiversity....
  • --------- Fight The Bite Campaign ------------
    People Pro Enterprises for Social Impact Pvt Ltd in association with St Paul’s International School organized a campaign named “ Fight The Bite”in the school auditorium on 19th September,2019. The students of class VI A and VI B presented a speech choir about the prevention of mosquito breed and bite . Elma Sebin of class VI B gave away the introductory speech . A video about the field work and a report of the survey was shown. Joel Sajeev of class VI A shared his experiences about the campaign. The Chief Guest of the day was Mr Babu M. R ,Health Inspector ,Primary Health Centre,Kalamassery. He advised the students that prevention is better than cure.Junior Health Inspector ,Mr Jasim Mathew also attended the programme . The Principal of the School, Mr George K.V appreciated the initiatives and efforts taken by the students. Ms Jasna Kuruvilla ,Centre Head of People Pro, sKochi also spoke on the occasion . The students of VI A and VI B had conducted a survey on mosquito menace in and around Ernakulam District. As a token of appreciation ,they were awarded with the certificate of participation .
  • Independence Day Celebration 2017
    The 70th Independence Day was celebrated at St. Paul’s International school on 15th August 2017. The celebration gained momentum with the flag hoisting at 8.45 am by Dr. Sheela Seth, the Principal of the school.
  • BALAJANASAKHYAM – A seminar on ‘Water Conservation’ by Dr. Haridas V R.
    A seminar on water conservation was carried out at St. Paul’s International School on 30th October 2017 by the guest of the day, the eminent hydro-geologist and the Manager of National Resource Management ‘Programme of Caritas’, Dr. Haridas V R.
  • HINDI DAY CELEBRATION
    Hindi Day was celebrated in a very grand manner in the St Paul's International School, Kalamasserry on 11th October, 2019 in the School auditorium. Various programmes like speech, action song, recitation and power point presentation were done. The Presidential address was delivered by the Principal of the school, Mr George K. V. He stressed on the importance and influence of Hindi language. The Chief Guest of the function was Mrs Shalby Kurian, the Head of the Hindi Department, Kendriya Vidyalaya. In her address the Chief Guest reminded the students about the popularity and significance of Hindi as a language. The programme highlighted the various activities of the Hindi Club carried out in the School throughout the academic year.
