St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery celebrated Onam in all its grandeur on 31 August 2017. The celebration was conducted with a difference as there was no formal ceremony.
St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery celebrated Onam in all its grandeur on 31 August 2017. The celebration was conducted with a difference as there was no formal ceremony. The programs came to a momentum with the arrival of the King Mahabali and a group song by the SPIS choir.
After which there was a mash up of songs played for the students to move according to the beat. Out of the blue the members of the Andes house in the school put forward a jaw dropping FLASH MOB. All the other houses namely Alps, Himalaya, and Atlas put forward a flabbergasting performance which mesmerized the spectators. It was held as part of the competition and Atlas house won the first prize.
The Tug of War competition was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro, the Director of the school. Dr. Sheela Seth, the Principal and Mr. C.C Raphael, the manager boosted the competitive spirit of the participants by motivating them with their presence.
In the Tug of War competition the students of Himalaya house put forward a topnotch performance and secured a double victory in the category of boys and girls. The students were distributed with sumptuous Payasam. The prizes were distributed to the winners by the Director, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro.
Entire teaching and nonteaching staff enjoyed the warmth of the Paulian family having the opulent Onasadhya together with the Director, Principal and the Manager
