The evening of 2017 was an incredible not to the St. Paul's International school, Kalamassery as they celebrated their "Partenza 2016-17". This celebration was hosted and organized by class XI students to bid farewell to the outgoing class XII batch. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. The programme began with a red carpet welcome to the outgoing class XII batch and the students were also gifted with a badge which was engraved with the words -' I am a Paulian '. The Programme comprised speeches, dances and games , thoughtfully and painstakingly arranged by class XI students as they wanted to make this occasion a truly memorable one for their seniors. The star attraction was the "traditional blessing ceremony "- (students touching the feet of their beloved teachers and Parents) which stole the show.
It was a proud moment for all the staff members present at the event to watch the different hues of the students who rejuvenate nurtured with great live and care. The students were also elated to perform on front of the audience as well as their teachers right from the nursery to class XII and their parents were presented at the event. The Director of the school, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro in his Inaugural speech gave valuable tips to the students on how to face the life with confidence and self assurance.”Always be a true human being” he added.
The principal of the school, Dr. Sheela Seth while felicitating the gathering reminded the students that “fear of lord” and “Humility” are the two main things for achieving success in one’s life. The class teachers of the outgoing class XII batch, Mrs. Angali Paul and Mrs. Rathi Udayakumar felicitated the gathering. The speeches of the parents, and outgoing students were filled with conflicting emotions- happiness, looking back at the memories they made, but also sadness at the prospect of leaving school life behind The ceremony was culminated with a touching performance by the power point performance and a vote of thanks by Anagha A Nair of XI A
