Road Safety Awareness Training

Statistical studies show that road accidents are the leading cause of death among the youth in Kerala. Presenting the statistical data, Mr. Dilip Kumar K.G, Astt. Motor Vehicle Inspector, Ernakulam, delivered an excellent and eye opening session to the High school and Senior Secondary students of St. Paul’s International School.

Motor Vehicle Inspector, Ernakulam, delivered an excellent and eye opening session to the High school and Senior Secondary students of St. Paul’s International School.

Through power point presentations, Mr. Dilip Kumar highlighted the dangers associated with reckless driving violating the traffic rules. Testimonies of victims of road accidents were heartrending and were warning for the students to be alert while on roads. Towards the end of the class students pledged to obey traffic rules safeguarding their own lives and lives of others. Mr. Sadique Ali, Regional Transport Officer, Ernakulam inaugurated the session. School Principal Dr. Sheela Seth, welcomed the gathering and Ms. Nikhita Mariam, student of class XII proposed vote of thanks.

  • Onam Celebration at St.Paul's International School
    St Paul’s International School celebrated Onam in a grand style .The auditorium was richly decorated , the students and teachers all decked in traditional Kerala attire ,entire campus was bubbling with energy .The official function started at 9 am by lighting the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries .The occasion was graced by The Principal ,Mr George K.V ,the Manager ,Mr Raphael C.C. The Chief Guest was the Malayalam poet ,Mr Shaju Kulathuvayal . Anagha Tom ,of XII B delivered the welcome address. The Principal of the school ,Mr George K.V. delivered the presidential address .He explained the rich heritage of Onam in Kerala and the spirit of oneness among all irrespective of cast, creed and religion . He encouraged the students to share the joy and mirth of Onam with one and all. The Chief Guest of the day, Mr Shaju Kulathuvayal spoke about the traditional festivities of Onam .He stressed on the human values which is the underlying significance of any festival . Onam is a festival of love and mutual bond .He inspired the students to build a better humane society with moral values . The function showcased various rich cultural extravaganza of Kerala like Thiruvathira, Pulikalli ,Skit ,Onapattu and flash mob. A few competitions like “ Payasam making “and “ eating banana “ were also organized as part of the celebration . A grand Pookalam was arranged in the main entrance of the school .Students were given tasty payasam . The function concluded with the national anthem .

    A class on Cyber Safety was organized at St. Paul’s International School on 30th January, 2018 under the aegis of Nallapadam and the Computer Science Department of SPIS.

  • Healthy Karkkidakam – An Assemblage of Generations
    The Seed Club of St.Paul’s International School organised Healthy Karkkidakam programme to make the new gen students aware of the health tips that the olden generation had followed and also to understand the medicinal importance of Karkkidaka Kanji. The Chief Guest, Dr. Siju C. Thomas, Chief Physician of Ayurgiri Ayurveda Treatment Centre, Edappally inaugurated the function by serving the Karkkidaka Kanji to the grandparents. Mr K.V. George, Principal of the school presided over the meeting and was accompanied by Mr C.C. Raphael, the manager. The grandparents were highly spirited to impart their knowledge and experience on health issues to the students of Class VI, VII and VIII. Dr. Siju had an interaction with students, laying stress on the significance of the month Karkkidakam, which was also a platform for them to clear their doubts. The ‘Nadanpattu’ and ‘Koithupattu’ performed by the students added colour to the programme. Miss Jayalakshmi, Seed Cordinator delivered the welcome address and Kumari Karthika the vote of thanks. Under the initiative of Seed Club, Karkkidaka Kanji was distributed to the entire staff and students of the school.
  • TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
    St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery, celebrated Teacher’s Day on 30th August 2017. It was the big day for all the faculty members at SPIS. The students of the Higher Secondary Section organized a function for the teachers.

    An Elocution Contest was held at Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Chembumukku on 7th December 2018 as part of Silver Jubilee Celebration. Four students of our school participated in the competition. Sohail Sanjay Moideen of Class XI and Anagha Biju of Class XI secured the first positions in Senior Category English and Malayalam Elocution respectively. Second prize in English Elocution under Junior category was won by Jovina Roy of Class VIII and Vaidehi Varma of Class VIII won second prize in Malayalam Elocution under Junior category.

All 2nd and 3rd Saturdays will be holidays for classes from Std VI to XII

OFFICE TIMINGS

Monday - Saturday : 8.30 am - 4.30 pm
Lunch Break : 12.45 pm - 1.45 pm
Office will not be functioning on 2nd and 3rd Saturdays.

Parents may meet the Principal after prior appointment at the following timings. Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 11.00 am / 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm
