17th Annual Sports Meet 2019

St Paul's International School, Kalamasserry conducted the valedictory function of the 7 days long Sports extravaganza on 19th December, 2019. The welcome address was delivered by the Principal of the school, Mr George K. V. He stressed on the importance of games and sports in moulding our character. He reminded the students about the "Fitness India Campaign" of the Central Government. The Presidential address was delivered by the Director of the school Rev Dr Douglas Pinheiro. He encouraged the students to face any challenge in life. Games and sports can only enable us to do the same. The Chief Guest of the function was Commander, Mr Deepak Sebastian, Naval Architect Officer in the Indian Navy. He advised the students to take part in the sports events with passion and interest. He also added that games and sports can teach us hard work, resilience and team spirit. The day's programme highlights were the ceremonial march past with synchronized orchestration by the 4 House members. All the classes presented colourful drills along with peppy music. Various Yoga postures were demonstrated. Skating display was very rhythmic. Some events were exclusively organised for the parents and teachers. They took part very happily and won prizes. The Prize distribution ceremony was held in the main pavilion and the prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest, the Director and the Principal of the school.

  • International Yoga Day
    On the occasion of International Yoga Day, St. Paul’s International School organized a special assembly in the school auditorium.
  • Kudos Paulians
    St. Paul's International School continued its uninterrupted saga of 100% success both in class X and XII in the AISSE and AISSCE-2017. Out of 38 students who appeared for 12th Board Exam, two students secured A1 in all subjects, 30 students secured a score of 80% and above and the rest nearly missed 80%. Out of 53 students who appeared for 10th Board Exam, 16 students secured A1 in all subjects. Three students nearly missed their 80% and the rest scored above 80%. The School Management appreciates the encouragement and support received from all the stakeholders. Kudos Paulians!
  • GERMAN DAY - 2017
    On 26th October 2017, St. Paul’s International School celebrated German Day. Dr. Axel Beier, the Director of Geothe Institute, Banglore and Dr. Syed Ibrahim, the Director of Geothe Zentrum, Trivandrum and Kochi and the German Consul for Kerala, were the guests of the day.
  • 17th Annual Day Celebrations Mendeleev @150
    Recognising 2019 as the International Year of Periodic Table of Chemical Elements, St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery emblazoned its 17th annual day on Nov 23, 2019 with the theme ‘MENDELEEV @ 150,’ commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Periodic Table organised by the Russian scientist Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev. The prestigious ceremony started with the invocation led by the school choir. Master Sohail Sanjay Moideen, the conscientious School Captain, welcomed the gathering with integrity. Mr. George K.V, Principal of SPIS expounded the school annual report 2019 – 2020 and extolled the tremendous efforts of the management, staff and students in bringing about the growth and development of the school. In his Presidential Address, Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro, Director of SPIS, stressed on the importance of Science at all stages of learning and careers. The chief guest, honourable Mrs. Justice Mary Joseph, High Court of Kerala, inaugurated the function and ignited the audience with her inspiring words. The honourable Justice acclaimed the efforts of the management and students as they excelled in both scholastic and co-curricular activities. She communed that “Every annual day programmes are a platform to improve the flair of the students, rectifying the gaffes of the previous year. The students should stick on to their traditional belief system and moral values imparted to them by their parents and teachers and should fight against the oddities. Every child should be well equipped to face the challenges of childhood, adolescence and teenage; they should be vigilant while using the media and also be trained to live as social beings, reforming the society with responsibility.” Drawing a difference between the olden and modern era, the Justice urged the Paulians to ensure academic growth by exploiting the fortuity of the age. The guest of honour, Very Rev. Msgr. Mathew Ilanjimittam, Vicar General of Archdiocese of Verapoly, launched the New School Logo and blessed the gathering with his humble words. The Msgr. marveled at the theme selected for the year. He communed that the school has left no leaf unturned to portray the acme of internationalism and empowered the students to work hard and utilize to the maximum, the opportunities provided to them. It was a defining moment for the Paulians to receive their trophies and medals from the dignitaries for their outstanding performance in academics and co-curricular activities. As a token of gratitude Rev. Dr. Douglas Pinheiro honoured the chief guests with the mementos. The formal function came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by Kumari Navya Vijay, Captain of Andes House. The audience was taken aback with the enticing show of the Junior Music Band of SPIS, along with the performance of the youngest music composer and melodious singer, the Sakalakala Vallabhan fame, Kumari Shreya S. Ajith. The aspirants of SPIS, unveiled the mystery of the theme and emoted their challenging skills equaling the professionals. The dance variants enthralled the viewers. The theme song released by SPIS was another arresting feature. Ms. Suby V. George, the programme coordinator delivered the vote of thanks and the programme concluded with the national anthem.

Parents may meet the Principal after prior appointment at the following timings. Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 11.00 am / 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm
