The rich and fabulous cultural extravaganza 2019 - 20 was inaugurated on 27th July, 2019 in the St Paul's International School with great fervour. The welcome address was given by Ms Anjaly Sabu of class XI B. The Presidential address was delivered by the Principal of the school, Mr George K. V. He advised the students to be positive in life. They should accept failures sportingly. He reiterated that failures are the stepping stones of success. The programme was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Justice C. N. Ramachandran Nair lighting the ceremonial lamp.
In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest highlighted about the rich ambience and excellence of the school. He motivated the students to excel in every sphere of life and upgrade them in par with the international standard. To achieve excellence, students have to study systematically, seriously and regularly. They should ideally utilise all the opportunities in life. The vote of thanks was proposed by Master Ashwin Verghese Benny of class XI B, followed by the medley of onstage competitions of various categories on four stages of the school.
The Presidential address was delivered by the Director SPIS Rev Dr Douglas Pinheiro. He encouraged the students to seek knowledge always through innovation and never limit them with the minimum in life. In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest of the day Dr P. Venu said that an exhibition is a success when it is touched by innovation. Innovation is the solution to a problem to make any job easier. Innovations can lead to setting up start-ups that benefit society. The Principal of the school, Mr. George K. V. motivated the students to reach the zenith of success through new and path breaking thoughts. The vote of thanks was proposed by the school Vice Captain Ms. Raisa Parveen. The exhibits unfolded the sheer hardwork, deep research and well planned execution by the students. Parents of various classes visited all the venues and appreciated the works of the students. The entire campus was vibrating with vigour and energy. Together the students and teachers put up a grand show per excellence.
